MacBook
So I just bought the wife a new MacBook and all I can say is damn.  One of the nicest laptops I ever used.  The fit and finish is just bananas.  I’ve been using it for an hour now and I love it.  I can see a lot of fighting over this baby in our future.

faak.  after the upgrade itunes isn’t recognizing my iphone.  *sigh* Edit: It turns out that this was a specific issue with my motherboard, the Asus P7P55D, and it’s USB controller.  Upgrading the BIOS to 0915 did the trick.

New Computer Build
So my dad and I spent the better part of today rebuilding my aging quad-core computer to something a tad bit more modern.  I figure I’d share my new computer specs with the world.  What else would a nerd do.
